Well, we are in the house. Home Depot has become our choice location for romantic dates. And we got the floors in. The first two days were tough on me. I was naive in thinking that it would automatically feel like home. It didn't. I cried and wondered if I was going to have to live here and feel out of place. Then I started remodeling the closet (I know, simple, but it worked) and getting out to see the area grocery stores and such. The HEB is great with loads of options. I'm trying to turn a new leaf....get away from gluten and try to steer clear of all of the processed foods out there. Not completely, just a little. I need to eat better....that's all.
The house is great! We have everything here and are slowly getting things together. We cut the tree back, installed the microwave, got the pantry in order, did the new locks on the door thing, put away clothes, and I even had time to get started on some homework this weekend. I really do miss faire, but there is no way I would be able to do it. This week will include painting the bedroom and possible living areas, installing new exterior doors, and continuing to unpack. Our backyard has this little bitch of a female squirrel who keeps stealing my bird food not matter how hard I try to distract her with corn and such. I may have to kill her.
I have also bought no less that five bags of candy for Halloween. Those kids better come and trick or treat at our place.....I'll be pissed. Hope everyone had a great weekend at faire! The weather was perfect for it!!
