No, I didn't fall off the face of the earth! I just kind of ended up taking a long, unplanned hiatus from livejournal, with the exception of popping into some fic journals here and there. I would have said something, except for that whole unplanned thing. *shrug*

What happened was that there was a couple of major real life things going on last fall that really sucked that I didn't really want to talk about, and they were major enough that I didn't really want to talk about anything else without talking about them first, if that makes any sense at all. And I kept putting off posting with the idea that I would eventually feel like talking about those things and it just never happened. ^^;;; So I'm giving up on that idea and just moving on.

Apologies for any major events I may have missed. I suppose if anything really dire happened to someone I know I would have heard about it through other means. ^^;;;

ANYWAY, positive stuff that's been going on: My Chemical Romance! XD They finally put out a new album last November with the first teasers and stuff coming out in September and as ridiculous as it may sound, it was an absolute God-send. I don't know how I would have made it through last fall without all the new MCR stuff to focus on and distract myself with. Good job, Gerard, you're still saving people's lives. XP Or at least their sanity. Band of my heart, seriously, I love them and their awesome ridiculousness so damn much. All of this culminated in finally getting to see them play live again at a holiday radio show in December. It was such an awesome show! One of the absolute best bands to see live. *_*

Which brings me to more recent events, an undertaking I dubbed My Chemical Adventure because I'm a big loser like that. XP I saw them four times in six days! It was a great adventure that I just returned home from on Thursday. I started off with a three day trip to Chicago (rather fitting considering my first ever crazy concert adventure was a trip to Chicago to see MCR for the first time), then went to Cleveland, then came home for a day before being joined by Amy in going to Toronto and then Montreal. It was magnificent! Tiring, definitely, and a LOT of time spent on buses, but it was worth it. XD God, I can't even say how amazing those shows were. *_* And I also got to discover a new band to love, The Architects, who were the first opener. They have this awesome blue-collar hard rock thing going on that I really love. The whole thing was just really great and I'm already sad that I don't know when I'm going to see them again. Either of them. XD MCR withtrawal!

I took tons of pictures in Chicago that will be uploaded eventually, and Amy took pictures of the Toronto and Montreal shows which I guess she'll upload at some point. XD

Anyway, I'm going to try to post more regularly. Or at least not disappear for like eight months. XP

P.S. Happy Easter!
