DO-MI-MI, MI-SO-SO, RE-FA-FA, LA-TI-TI!!
So I'm kinda running out of things to do...except for coming up with theories...
So I drove around the beach on Monday (from complete and utter boredom) and just relaxed (some more)...DAMN cali boys are cute! I mean a lot cuter than I remember...but then I realized that it wasn't them getting cuter...it was me lowering my standards! You must see where I'm comin from: My junior yr was OCHSA (need i say more?) I basically left all cuteness behind (ok, except for the ones looking for the same cuteness I was...And I'mm not talking baby animals either) Then, I go to NY...where there are many different kinds of guys...creeps, pervs, and the ones over 40...Then of course I'm not really in the type of career where you meet winners...Theatre boys in NY have higher voices than I do and sometimes we are wearing the same skirt...Then there are the rare straight ones which (as I've used before) are a walking gum ball machine of STDs (stick it in and see which one you get!)...Oh yah...and NYU boys aren't really lookers/winners either (if you don't believe me, just as ariella, am I right?)...So, as you can see I've been a little deprived...
So, if my standards are lower, now...why no dough? Because of THIER standards! Just look at a cali girl compared to a NY girl:
Cali girl: Thinks 125 lbs is fat...thinks everyone should be a blonde (or lighter in the summer)...Thinks guys that drive trucks are cute...Prefers guys with light skin and dark hair
NY girl: Thinks 160 lbs is fat...thinks everyone should wear dark colors in the winter and sport classy dark hair...Thinks guys that take taxis or town cars are hot...Prefers dark ethnic men (preferably wiht an accent)
((Now, I'm not saying one is "hotter" or "cuter than the other...I'll get to that...))
Ok...so those are sterotypes...but are sterotypes based on truth? Or else where would they come from?
Anyways...So, the cali girls prefer cali guys and the NY girls prefer the NY guys because this is what they know and thier friends know...
But here is the kicker: Cali boys have seen WAY too much...They have been exposed to tooo many hot cali girls (because there are a lot) THUS their standards are higher than the average male in the country...sure guys can watch tv and see Pam Anderson on Bay Watch...but why do that when you can go to the beach and see 5! So now most guys in cali expect to find a Pam...and what it sad is most do.
I guess the real question here is...what is hot? what is cute? what makes a guy/girl sexy? The answer: It is personal...but not always...and sometimes the location can have an effect on that or the people who you hang out with. Remember in middle school when all it took for the entire class of boys to like a girl was for ONE just one boy to like one girl and that was it...all the boys liked her...INFLUENCE, people!
But I guess I'm realizing how different the "hots" and "cutes" are from East to West coast...and I could just blowing chunks right now from my mouth...which i really do feel like doing..maybe i should wait til I'm sober to write these things or else you just end up rambling and ramling like I do I guess...well I guess that is all I had to say...I found cali guys to be hotter than before, but I guess it is cause I lowered my standards...and we like our "own kind" because of influence and what we know...and Every one's hot and cute is different...but not always...SO BE AN INDIVIDUAL!!!!!!!! YES THAT IS WHAT I AM REALLY SAYING....BEEEEE (LIKE A BUMBLE BEE) YOURSELF AND HAVE YOUR OWN TASTE! AMEN!
