I'm only two movies into my John Cusack Film Fest and have decided I don't need to see everyone. I was really torn about this, but I just couldn't muster up the enthusiam to watch Conair or 2012. Am I making a grave error? Should I watch them just to see the macho side to John? Unless I hear otherwise I'm giving these two movies a pass.
So far I've screened:
America's Sweethearts. I had seen this when it came out, but didn't remember a lot. John was adorable, but had a hard time buying his senstive character in love with such a diva. Fun movie, I liked the first half more than the second, but not a bad way to send a couple of hours.
Being John Malkovich: TRIPPY, very trippy. I hadn't seen it before, but wow, what plot! John was definately not adorable in this one, but I did really like the movie. There was one plot element in the movie that's in my wip I was bummed about, but it's just a slight thing and I'm handling it very differently!
On deck: Must Love Dogs perhaps Martian Child neither of which I haven't seen.
