Gene asked me to sing in his shop on Friday the 11th!
Now, if you're thinking "Wow, who cares. Your husband thinks you can sing." You're thinking about it from the perspective of someone who has an ego. I'm just so excited that I get to sing in front of people again, I can't even tell you! That last band try-out was a big disappointment.
I'm thinking up my set list now. I'm to do three 20 minute sets over three hours- and it's to be period-type songs that work with a party atmosphere (kind of "Thank God it's Friday" in Middle-Ages Europe).
So I've got a list here I'm interested in doing. Anyone have any requests or ideas? I need about ten more good ones, and then I won't have to repeat any.
