After three weeks of fighting with them and failing to receive phone calls that I was told to expect and calling for updates only to be told that I have to fax over some other piece of documentation that no one could be bothered to ask for before, Bank of America and I have finally straightened out
the problem with the mortgage on my mother's house, and both the bank and the attorney's office have confirmed that the property is no longer in foreclosure.
It took far more time and effort than it should have, but it is sorted out.
