My weekend
On Thursday evening, I had Linda, a Dutch friend of mine, staying for a long weekend. I met her whilst we were volunteering in Zimbabwe, and having not seen her since the beginning of February, her, Sam and I had a get together.
On Friday, Linda & I wandered around Southampton, down to the docks and not doing much (I did introduce her to Shakeaway though. Mmm). Then Sam arrived on Friday evening.
Saturday we went to London for the day, walking in what was essentially a big circle seeing all the tourist spots. (And of course getting some new earrings in Covent Garden.) There were two much needed Starbucks stops. And silly photo opportunities...
On Sunday, we went over to see Stonehenge. Despite living near it, neither Sam nor I had seen it before so thought it was a good idea when Linda suggested it.
We also found that there is a face on one of the rocks at Stonehenge...

All in all, a fab weekend.
