*waves*
I'm back now! Okay, so I got back yesterday late afternoon (5.30pm-ish) but I've only just got round to posting.
Had a fabulous week with
georgierae. I spent the day with her family (aunts, uncles and cousins included) on Sunday, who were all extremely welcoming to a stranger being there with them! A lovely bunch of people.
We also saw John Barrowman's concert. And yes, he made me cry. Although I know listen to 'Please Remember Me' in a different way now because of the reason he told us that he'd chosen to have it on his album. We'd been hoping to catch him after the show, but alas, he rode away on the top of a car. Meany! lol
We took some headshot-esque photos of Georgia. Went walking up a mountain very muddy hill in Chepstow, Wales - and Milo (her dog) tried to kill me as I was holding his lead on the way down! We also ended up with two extemely muddy dogs at the end of that trek! We watched the entire first season of NCIS (and now she loves it too!).
I watched Stardust, which was a very good film. We went to the cinema to watch Son of Rambow, which was also a really good film. We cooked a lovely tuna pasta bake (with a salad) for dinner one night, with fruit salad and ice cream for desert as we re-watched the last two episodes of Torchwood.
On Saturday we went to Cardiff... and I have got some very funny photos that I shall post later - mostly of me being a twit :-D
And of course, it was pouring down when we were there - because every time I go to Wales it rains!! We wandered down to the Bay and I made Georgia take a photo of me in front of the water tower that features in Torchwood. Because of course it had to be done!
And then yesterday I did the 3 hour drive back home in the afternoon. During which time I had a "stalker" on the motorway. A maroon people-carrier type car, where everytime I pulled out to change lanes, it did too. And then when I pulled off to a service station after a while, it followed right behind me! Although they didn't leave the services when I did, so they didn't stalk me after that ;-)
