The tent is set up just outside by the Lake, it is reminecent of a cirus tent but this year with a more winter like decor. Green and Red, mistletoe, and reaths. A wonder to behold, after all she has had a whole year to prepare this time, and she has had help

This is going to be a long night of partying and at some point you are likely to get hungry and as they say Eat, drink, and be merry. At this table it is the former that you will take care of.

[OOC: here is where you get food. Yes there are exotic foods for those whom she knows has dietary needs different from human. Mingling here is more then welcome. Or ask the immortal when she comes by what theat strange green stuff is.]

Mmmm, Christmas ham. And mashed potatoes. Just like Grandma Knox used to make.

He takes a slice and a scoop and looks to see who else is here.

The Jedi Master is there, trying a thing here, another there... but mostly staying with the vegetables.

"Hey. Merry Christmas." He's seen the face before, but that's all.

"Merry Christmas." Mace offers a half-bow, then extends a hand. "Mace Windu."

Knox gets a very crooked smile. "Well, this is a pleasure. Amanda's mentioned you a few times."

[vaapadmaster]

"Indeed?" Mace raises a brow, curious...

[gotham_knocking]

"Well, she said you two are an item. And that you're also her trainer, and a Jedi. Pretty interesting comibnation, eh?" Knox finally extends his hand.

"Alexander Knox, Gotham City, 1990."

[vaapadmaster]

"A pleasure to meet you."

"An... item?" Interesting way of referring to two people who enjoy each other's company often.

[gotham_knocking]

"Earth slang. For a couple. Two people dating. Seeing each other." He relly has no idea which term will work and which won't.

"Oh, yes indeed, that does apply to us."

[gotham_knocking]

"She's quite a woman, isn't she?" More than he could ever handle, in fact. "You better take care of her. Because if you don't, she'll make sure you know." He smirks, but it's a warm smirk.

[vaapadmaster]

"I would say she is special... but I think that word is a bit weak to describe Amanda."

[gotham_knocking]

Yup, Mace is smitten. "I'm a reporter, so I use words for a living, and I cant' say you're wrong.

"She's been a good friend to me here. I'm glad to see her so happy."

[vaapadmaster]

A composed, serene, dignified smitten, but smitten anyway.

"I am glad to make her happy."

"So," he says as he has some ham, "how's the Jedi game?"
