I've got a sweeter song than the birds in the trees...

Wow...so I'm pretty sure I almost forgot I had an LJ until I noticed Calen's Facebook update, posting the link to his, haha. But let's face it, I'm pretty much too lazy to write in more than one blog these days.

SO...LJ friends to whom I haven't spoken in MONTHS - how've you been? I'm basically too lethargic to go through everyone's journal entries, so briefly update me. Fill me in. Enlighten me...in 10 sentences or less. DEAL? Deal.

Things have been absolutely insane this past month. University started, and I have a full courseload, so I've been pretty busy. It's a lot of work, but I'm loving every second of it...it's SUCH a nice change from highschool, holy CRAP. Profs don't treat you like you're 12 years old, it's fucking amazing. So far it's mostly been a lot of reading, as far as homework goes. But all my courses are really interesting, and all my professors are SWEET. I definitely lucked out, from what I've heard about some of my friends' profs hahaha. So yeah, I'm happy. We just finished our first round of midterms (my last one was Tuesday), which is nice! I actually did pretty well, so I was stoked haha. I have another term test in Psych next Thursday, but I'm gonna kick its ass. I love Psych. I'm so determined to ace this exam, hahaha.

Anyways. Aside from school, not all that much is new. The boy and I are back together - yes, AGAIN. Haha don't even get me started. Oh! And I'm looking for musicians! Playing my sax alone is always a blast because I can be creative without worrying about what other people think, but I'm looking for someone to put together a group of some sort, or just somebody to jam with. I've written some songs and I have one or two under construction in my brain right now, and I would LOVE someone to help me put melodies to them. So, if you play guitar, piano, drums, sax, or sing, hit me up! I'd love to make some sweet music with new people. And I'm into all genres, so anything from Jazz to screamo to classical or whatever. I could sing before I could talk, and I've played my sax for 7 years, so I do have SOME idea of what I'm doing, haha.

Well, I don't have much else to update right now, so I'm gonna end this and go have a nap.
Love,
Your Lord and master Foamy
Amanda
