"... should I get a tattoo or not?", this would be my response:
If you over-analyze all the decisions you make in your life, like whether to get a tattoo or not, then there's a good chance that you end up doing nothing at all. There's people who never get on a plane, for fear it might go down. People who don't leave their home, for fear of getting sick. People who never get in a car, for fear it could crash. I know these are all extreme examples, but I compare it to people who don't get a tattoo they really want for fear of other people disapproving, or judging them, or for the simple fact that they may not like it in 30 years. The fact is, I might not live to see 30 years. And if I'm fortunate enough to live that long, I might look back at that time and regret NOT getting that tattoo. I say go for it! I don't know where I'll be tomorrow, or in 5 years, or 50... But I'll always have something to look at, a beatiful memory in the form of a tattoo, that meant so much to me at that time.
Of course, this is my opinion. But since meeting Tim, I'm a big believer in not living too far in to the future... I want to enjoy right now too much!
I'm sitting next to my sister April, who also happens to be my best friend, listening to Tim and Rian talk about C.O.D and blogging on my wee lil' netbook, and I couldn't be in a better place! I hope all is well in your worlds... Sending much positive thoughts and energy your way!
Much love,
-A.
