Or...get back to a computer without family members hovering. ANYWAY.

Gretchen! I thought you loved her! And then! This! Ah! So, so, so well done, because you built to the final reveal slowly and terrifyingly and first she was going to die, and then bits of her BRAIN fell out and I might have shrieked, and then we're starting to figure it out, and then SHE ATE IANTO.

This is perfect for Jack. Seriously. Because he's moving on, he's comfortable and happy, he's joking and smiling and he's completely and totally broken inside. The end. Oh, Jack.

And there was a MOMENT where I thought that Gretchen had been Ianto the whole time, but then I realized that doesn't quite work, and now I'm even more curious about it. Also, Ianto hasn't spoken to Gwen recently, and I don't know if that's just because we haven't seen much of her POV, or if Ianto has just latched onto Jack, or if Gwen's moved on or what.

You balance the angsty darkness of Torchwood with the wacky hijinks and have these wonderful OC's mesh perfectly with everything, and I might be already waiting anxiously for the next chapter. Fantastic.
