"He got his mom to make up some dough, and then on top of this dough, Petie cut up dozens of hot sausages and luncheon meats and different kinds of cheese and pickles. Then he rolled it up and baked it, and when it came out of the oven it looked like a great golden football."
Then, later, "We started eating and our mouths were on fire and cheese and sausage juice was dripping down our chins."
I read the book in 3rd or 4th grade. Could never convince my Mom to make one for me. Literally have had dreams about it. Why have I not made one in the numerous adult years since? I'm a lazy cow, I guess. But if anybody else wants to make one I will definitely come over to share. Or maybe I'll go shopping and you can come enjoy chez moi.

Hm, do you think next time you could maybe add a spoiler warning before something like this? I mean, I haven't watched The L word, but I was planning to. >_<
Sorry to be a nag.

Sorry about that. After being spoiled for the end of "The Prisoner of Askaban" and for who exactly died at the end of "The Half-Blood Prince" before I could get my hands on the books (they get here a bit later than the rest of the world), I get this knee-jerk reaction when faced with possible spoilers. ^^U

On the other hand I don't care about spoilers, but I would still put more recent things under a cut.

Also, I look at your wordcount and headdesk myself. I've written no more than 300 words this week. HOWEVER.
