I am so in love with this story. Especially Ianto in this story. How very much he wants the baby, how he observes and thinks and holds his breath (I don't know if that makes sense, but it's like we're in his brain and looking out through his eyes and it's a place we connect with so wholeheartedly), and how he is with Penny. This ending is one of the best endings ever, ever, ever. I really loved it.

Ravi made me get all sniffly, on a day that was already a sniffly kind of day. Clearly the thing to do here is have more cookies and/or wine to console myself, because I am so full of healthy coping mechanisms.

That said: Any story that makes me mourn for a character must be an excellent story. And this, indeed, is. :)
