I wish you could just rip vids from youtube.

Not fan-created vids, but if people upload raw footage/clips and mark it okay for download, that would be great. There are BITS of episodes I'd use, but I don't want megabytes of stuff on my hard drive.

I've just got to see what sort of video comes out of the mind of amand_r. I am intrigued already.

There are ways to download youtube videos. They produce a file called FLV. Find an editor for that and you're in business.
