just another new york day
today was lovely. went to the gym (cue applause!), spent some time with my roomie, and went on an interview. at the end of the day, i think i got a job! it's a hostess position in this gorgeous fancy place in the lobby of a luxury hotel! how fun would that be??? i'm trying out there on monday night. i finally caved and got that restaurant job that everyone has been telling me to get. and i know it's the right thing but it can be tough letting go of all my other "happy-but-not-well-paying" jobs.
in other news, ugly betty was phenomenal tonight. i am including a quote from myself to liz's facebook wall:
"i have a confession to make. after tonight's ugly betty i kinda have a crush on gio. i know we are supposed to like henry - and i still do! you know how the who dorky guy thing appeals to me and all, but gio is just so... i don't know! he makes me feel so... oh wait this is just a tv show? it's NOT my life? my name's NOT betty? - ok moving on."
ugly betty is in a love triangle! i can hardly believe it. and gio really is growing on me....
