...in which amy talks about her second best vacation of her life!
(The first best being the marching band trip to Disney World in highschool, of course.)
Okay, so Hilton Head, SC. It was...Amazing. Wonderful. Magnificent. Superb. Splendid. Glorious. Brilliant. Outstanding. Marvellous. Grand. Spectacular spectacular, no words in the vernacular can't describe this great event, you'll be dumb with wonderment.
First, the house we were in ("the home") was amazing. It was huge! I slept on a futon with Fankie for half the week, Rachel for one night, and one night all by my lonesome. There were 8 of us there, and the other 5 were at the beach house with Stewie (the dog).
The week was so jam-packed with awesomeness, that I'll just give you a few of the highlights.
Group dinners: Partly awesome because we went grocery shopping at the PIGGLY-WIGGLY! Yes that's right, there was a real, honest-to-goodness Piggly Wiggly. And a guy who worked there who was nice to us, and told us about the only Super Wal-Mart in the area and how he got depressed when he went into there because they never cleaned their sky-lights. But the dinners themselves were fun, megan made most of it fall into place.
Going to the gas station by the house the first night, to see a sign up on the door reading "close for 40' " We were like...so after 40 feet it's not close anymore, it's far? But it actually meant closed for 40 minutes. But it was still hilarious.
Water-balloon fight: Occured in the parking lot beside the pool. My team dominated, of course...except not really. I tried to use this giant green bowl as a shield, except it totally backfired and just splashed all the water up into my face.
The hammock on the deck: everyone loved it.
The nature/leisure trail: was awesome to bike on.
the Pool: was where I spent most of the week with Rachel.
the Beach: even though I got a massive sunburn, it was AMAZING. especially when we saw dolphins!!!!!!!!!!! like 200 feet away from us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I spent 4.5 out of 5 hours there in the water.
Bike rides to the playground: to swing on the swings with Fankie every morning.

I feel like words aren't really telling you all how absolutly amazing this week was. But, take my word. or my tan lines. it ROCKED THE CASBAH!!!!!!!
