Seal of Roses FTW!!!
OMG.
I just saw Seal of Roses.
Oh my goodness, I think this might be my FAVOURITE PERFROMANCE ever!!! No, seriously.
It could be the excitement talking, but really......... this show has like, everything that I'd want in a show, I think.
It has the gothicness, vampires, and darkness... but it also has the pretty sparkliness of BeruBara that I actually really, really love. It has medieval costumes, pretty parisienne costumes (omg I want that giant ruby and diamond sparkly dress!) and fedoras and awesome swanky 20/30/40's style (whatever decade it was... can't remember...) and modern awesomeness.
It is so quirky and hilarious, but not so much so that it's compleyely shallow and without a story.
Um... all of my favourite (well, most of my favourite) performers packed onto one stage!!?! Yay!!!
The only thing is my conscience, especially after watching American History X today in my workshop... had me cringing because omg ~ why make the Nazi's so damn freakin hot??!?!? Not right!!!
Argh.
Ok, totally awesome. Beautiful and catchy music, for the most part... and Saeko in a pretty dress!! Haha... and everyone so bite-happy.
I really really love it. So, it might actually be my favourite so far, like a tad sliver bit higher than Elizabeth (and I have seen Elizabeth I think more than 100 times, seriously, and Seal of Roses - once). Yikes.
I'm totally totally in love and I'm going to watch this over and over again!! It's like the perfect show for me. If it had Tom-san, Komu, Hana, Zunko, Mizu, and some outright lesbianism, and a... mermaid... it would be MY show completely, 100%. Oh, and some witchcraft. Throw in an evil old witch.
Okay I'm only saying this because it's so possible to think of the few things it doesn't have... it's so perfect. Uh, for me. Well mostly. Blah!!
