Weekend Update.

So friday night was dull and tiring and nothing much happened. Saturday was GREAT! Got to spend the whole day with the Birthday Princess! We went to Kirby Lane first and had a good meal. Then it was off to Half Price Books, where I found one of my favorite novels that is now out of print. Bought two copies of it. They had four and I was tempted. I know what your thinking...why would you need more than one copy. Well it is a paper back and I use to have a tendancy to read it so much that the book would fall apart so it is good to have a back up. Then we went to the mall. Did some random shopping and then Stella was nice enough to go into the dressing room with me at Old Navy to help me pick out some new work clothes. I got some really nice stuff along with a really cool spring coat! After much running around the shoes I was wearing started to make the balls of my feet screaming so Zach and I went into payless and bought a cute pair of sandals and a pair of high heels to go with my work clothes. Then it was off to a yummy dinner. At dinner gave the birthday princess her present and was delighted that she liked it. I was worried she might not. Anywho it was off to the cigar shop and then Opal Divine's. I really like that place especially since they have hard cider on draft! Have a great and wonderful time and got to have many fun discussions with friends. I smoked way too much but had fun with the vanilla cigerattes I bought at the cigar shop. We ate again at Katz's and that was the end of a great celebration. My food diary for Saturday reads as follows. "I got drunk and lost count of every thing I ate and drank, so I broke my diet BAD!!!!! Sunday woke up and felt very ill. Combination of sinus infection and hung over ness. Zach and I went to Best Buy and bought a Dyson Vacuum and a new washer and dryer. We spent alot but I feel that these were resonable purchases and we have the money now so why not. I figure that we have the money now and Zach is loosing his job in November and what if the over 10 year washer and dryer break and don't have any money. So for one of the first times in my life I don't have buyer's remorse. I am sure I will suffer from it as soon as Zach balances his check book! After all of that we went home and I called the birthday princess to wish her a happy birthday and then we got to cleaning. The bathroom is now spotless and ready for the apartment people to come in and fix our cracked tub. Now we just have a couple of more rooms and we are done. I talked to Heather later on to find out when the baby comes. It will happen in about two weeks, so we will have to go to San Antonio to go see her when this does happen. The rest of the evening was spent watching my Superbowl.....aka the Oscars. It was kind of a boring Oscars with only a few surprises. Chris Rock to jabs at some actors I really like but in the end did an okay job. Then new format was not as horrible as I thought it would be but didn't end up saving much in time. I did like the musical numbers and thankfully the show ended before midnight. Today woke up feeling still slightly sick and used my new acne medicine. I waited the hour it said to put on makeup but it burned my face alittle when I put the make up on....I hope that will go away after while. So tonight the in-laws are in Oklahoma....so will have dinner with Jason at Applebee's to try their weight watchers approved menu. Nothing really else planned for the rest of the week and saturday we get the new washer and dryer. But as far as the weekend it was great.....so that is all and there just isn't anymore.
