Dating! Like, for reals?
So, on a whim I decided to meet up with this man, Sal, who I had been talking to for a little while on an online dating site. I went through a boredum streak post-philosophy conference and was trying to not be SOOOO into Brent (who is a wonderful friend I don't want to lose from me being crazy) and decided to log onto a dating thing and browse. Of course, men in my area are usually NOT my type (hicks/hunters/ect.) and women are usually too young for me (college girls). So when I came across someone my age, and seemingly interesting I prodded and we talked about SO MUCH it was great. We met and hit it off, he wanted to see me again and I agreed. Now we are on date #4.
I'm not sure where this will go, I am still just getting to know him and for all I know he can either be the love of my life or a great big douche. Time will tell us the ending to this story.
In the mean time, I like having a reason to get dressed up and set plans to look foreword to. Of course, having an admirer doesn't hurt either, haha!
I just want to make an LJ log about this as it is happening. It isn't often I go on official dates, and I've been single for so long that I really wasn't sure I knew how to date at all. Apparently I'm good at it? Or just an awesome person. :)
