I like that Erik points out how much more aggressive Kara is compared to women he's used to. Because she definitely wouldn't mesh with the typical '60s model of woman.

*happy sigh* I really enjoy Kara's fear about yet another war, and then Erik Charles' chess conversation. (lol that is a requirement in any fic isn't it? ;)) Because here's Erik, who just doesn't get it, but Charles doesn't quite get it either. I feel bad for Kara because this is post-poof and she thought she was finally done, and not only is she not, but the guy she's having sex with is scheming about how to use her. Jesus, she cannot catch a break.

Ah, that's Kara, cutting through the bullcrap. (At least she's not blind enough to see that Erik wants something.)

I'm sorry that it doesn't end well and yes, we can assume that Beach Divorce still happened. But as to where Kara ends up...i had about five different endings to this including one where Kara takes Erik with her to the past but that was too much like he DW/XMFC fit that Kris and I did. Actually, if you scroll up and look at shah's suggestion...i am working on that as we speak. But it actually gets worse before it gets better. D: or should i just have her show up, like 2 months later? Gah! I DON'T KNOW ANYMORE!! i guess i can do an alternate universe...dammit, Kyla.
