I wasn't gonna post but.....

This morning when standing in the elevator I was thinking about Puru Prabhu a disciple of Srila Prabhupada whom I spend a lot of time with while staying in Vraja last kartika. We both stayed at Sadhu Maharajas place and his room was just right next door to mine. I don't know why but I thought that he might haved passed away. He had problems with his heart and had already undergone surgery some years ago. He told me the night before the sugery Prabhupada appeared to him in a dream because he was afraid that he would die. Prabhupada told him" You are my son. I will take care of you".

By the desire of Sri Radha Vindoda Biharji and his Gurudeva he was called to leave his body just some hours ago.
My thought became reality and I can't describe what I feel. He was so loyal to Prabhupada, Gurudeva and the whole line coming from Bhaktisiddhanta. It really helped me a lot in terms of my understanding of what our Archaryas are giving. This Vraja Mandala parikrama on the disappearance of Srila Prabhupada, his Guru, he spoke one of the most honest and heartbreaking classes. At the same time he appeared to be a roaring lion. But with such soft heart.

He inivited Vaisnava Maharaja and me to come and take prasad at his place when we were at Govardhana. It was one of the best and most simple meals I ever had. He had a deity of Mahaprabhu that he took care of, and that I know, Mahaprabhu is taking care of him now.

He was so generous. He always invited me. Though i was completely unworthy of his association.

What a wonderful soul.

If you read this Puru Prabhu, please accept my humble obeisances. I will never forget what you taught me.
I want to become as loyal to my Gurudeva as are to Srila Prabhupada. And if Krsna lets me, I will serve you again someday, somewhere.

Srila Puru Prabhu ki jay!

your servant

Amala Krsna dasa
