So, my plan to use LJ every day did not happen obviously. I am so bad about making plans for things and then not doing them. But, here I am using it now so that's good.
Anyway, I still have some clean clothes to wear so I am scrapping my idea of doing laundry today. I'll do it tomorrow. I need to wash the cushion covers on the loveseat as well. I already did the couch cushion covers. Why didn't you do them both at the same time Amanda? Cause I spilled something on the couch and didn't on the Loveseat and at the time it didn't occur to me to pull the covers off the loveseat too. I need to wash my winter blankets and comforter as well, they've been boxed up since spring and spiders might've laid eggs in them or something.
I think I'm gonna start saving up for a washer. Having to go to the laundromat sucks. Not so much because of the laundromat itself (it's a pandemic, I only go inside long enough to put my clothes in a machine, then I sit in my car and read/watch videos until it's time to move them or collect them), but because of the hours. There is no 24 hour laundromat in Hattiesburg (that I've found anyway, if someone who reads this knows of one, let me know) and I honestly prefer to do my laundry at night, rather than early in the morning before work.
I want to get a really GOOD big washer that can handle even big things like my blankets and comforters. No need for a dryer right away. I can wash my clothes Friday night and then put them out on a clothesline on Saturday to dry in the backyard, or even inside on a rack if it is rainy or something. I'd get a dryer eventually, but there's no need to have to get them both at the same time. It'll take a little while cause my budget is pretty tight right now, but I think in a few months I could have enough put together to get one. Especially if I use some tax money too.
Not too much tax money though, I have plans for that. Well, I have a list of things I want to do, and which of those things will be done depends on how much I will get back on taxes.
This entry has been nothing but laundry really. Oh well.
