It's about how Broadband over power lines are causing large amount of radio interference. Thanks goes to Mason for pointing out the original story to me this morning.
While I think that it's great for broadband to spread nationwide, other ways have to be found than to transmit it via the power lines. As you can see in this
video, the broadband power lines completely distort radio signals, especially those used for amateur radio.
