GACKT holds a special class at an elementary school on achieving dreams, actually wanted to become a school teacher!?

At that school, a special activities class was held where, with the aim of getting the sixth year students to have dreams for the future, they investigated careers they were interested in, and wrote letters asking someone with that job to come to the school and talk about it. This time, a letter from a female student who wanted to become an actress became the impetus for a dream class becoming reality.
GACKT holds "Giving the children who are our future a push forward," as part of his work as an artist, and makes a surprise visit to high school graduation ceremonies each year to give a passionate cheer to the graduating students. That's why he decided that "No matter how small it is, if I can give children who are going to be walking into the future a cheer in any form, I want to," and responded to the letter.
The special lesson was held during the sixth period, and GACKT's sudden appearance was greeted by a great cheer and temporary uproar in the classroom. When the classroom had calmed down, GACKT began to speak kindly and politely. During his childhood, he was sickly and was mostly unable to attend school. As a boy struggling to find the meaning in living, he met a certain person and his way of thinking made a 180 degree turn. He said that before becoming a musician he wanted to be a school teacher, and so on...
And as for the main topic, can you get the job you want? Can dreams come true? "First of all, what you have to decide is your goal. Work backwards from there to figure out what you need to become it. If you do that, you should figure out what you have to do. What's important isn't figuring out whether you can or not, it's deciding that you will. Dreams are energy, those without dreams can't walk into the future. You need to dream big. And draw your own plans for those dreams. If you can just think like that, your dreams are sure to come true," he explained simply, writing on the whiteboard.
Including the Q&A afterwards, the class was planned to be 45 mins, but went for 90, and at the end he took a comemmorative photo with the students, and reluctantly left the classroom. It seems that for the students, this day will remain in their hearts as a perfect surprise present for their graduation year.
GACKT has also announced his first live tour in 4 years, a 21 stop national tour starting in May. Titled "THE BEST OF BEST vol.1," it's a best-of tour that looks back on his solo career from 1999 to the present, and is planned to be a special live that, fan or not, you can't help but anticipate.
