Hey, I managed to get my hands on an extra copy of the Kyoshiro pamphlet, as well as an extra set of postcards, which I was thinking I'd LJ-auction off here. Best offer by Wednesday gets them (to be exact, by 23:59:59 Tokyo/Japan time on the 26th May 2010).
I will start two threads for bidding, please comment in the appropriate thread. Anonymous comments are okay as long as you include an email address so I can contact you. You may also PM/email me bids, and I will place a comment stating the current high bid for other people to see. I will not be notifying people who have been outbid this time, since my uni schedule prevents me from doing it in a timely manner. Therefore, please check back regularly as the deadline approaches. Comment threads will be frozen at midnight on Wednesday.
EDIT: Due to the significant percentage of people I have who prefer to place bids via PM/email, I will do my best to keep the comments section updated, but please note that the current high bid might be a bit behind. I will accept all bids up to midnight, whether they come by comment or PM. For this reason attempting to snipe the auctions at the last minute may not work as there will be a short delay while I try to keep up with the comments. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Rules apply (slightly different to last time, please read):
1. Since all the money has to go through my paypal and to minimize confusion, all prices and offers will be in USD. If you have the winning bid and are in Australia, you can also pay the equivalent amount in AUD if that's easier for you (as per
http://www.oanda.com/currency/converter/ on the day of purchase).
2. The reserve price includes the base cost of the item, international EMS postage worldwide*, exchange fees, bank fees, paypal fees, etc. I cannot accept lower offers. The exchange rate really, really sucks at the moment so it's unfortunately rather expensive. Sorry.
*For anyone in South America or Africa, there will be a $5-10 surcharge depending on the size of the item, since postage is significantly more expensive to those regions. Please keep this in mind when you bid.
3. All transactions will be handled via paypal. I do not take money orders, bank deposits, or concealed cash. If you cannot use paypal and wish to discuss another method with me, contact me BEFORE you bid/ offer to buy an item. If you make an offer and then tell me you cannot pay via paypal, I will sell the item to the next person on the list.
4. Items will be posted after payment is received. Depending on my schedule, it may take a few days to a week before I get to the post office- I will endeavor to keep everyone informed as much as possible, but please email me if you have any concerns.
5. I take no responsibility for lost or damaged items once they have left my possession. If I have made a mistake (eg. wrong item posted, significant error in item description, significant damage to item that is (a) not a result of mishandling by the postal service or anyone else the item came in contact with after it was sent and (b) not detailed in photos or the item description), I will refund your money only in those circumstances.
6. If you make the highest bid, and then pull out, try to lower it, cannot pay within a reasonable time frame, etc, the item may be passed to the next highest bidder, and you may be blacklisted from future sales posts, depending on the circumstances and how lenient I feel. In a nutshell, don't dick me around and we'll get along fine.
7. If you have any concerns or questions please email me at amaiakuyume "AT" hotmail "DOT" com. If there has been an error or mishandling of your transaction, please email me and allow at least 48 hours for a response before filing a paypal dispute or posting elsewhere on LJ, etc.
