That's right- Delicious sushi!! 久しぶりに!!
Is this not the most beautiful Sashimi boat you've ever seen???
It was tasty too- even if I didn't know what most of it was haha (^_^)
We all shared the Sashimi, but had our own plates of sushi.
Everything was really excellent (as expected!!). The one thing that really stands out in my mind, is the prawn. I ate more of it then I thought could be eaten. By that I mean that I ate the legs (crispy- like shrimp chips from T&T) and the head+brain. The brain was soft and kinda tasted like fatty butter- so it was good. The only thing is that I didn't like the IDEA of eating it.. but after I was quite excited that I did it haha. I'm just like a child!
Our Chef:
According to him, he has made sushi for tons of nationalities- but I was his first Croatian =P
I also had Chawanmushi for the first time!! It's like Japanese-food-pudding. Its made with eggs, and seafood with a fish base. It was really really good, if I had patience to make this at home, I totally would. It's like Japanese comfort food <3
Then we went to a noisy, dimly-lit, wine bar with a beautiful view of Tokyo- we could even see Tokyo Tower clearly <3 <3.
My dessert- panna cotta <3
Us, after a lot of drinks, my students are clearly the cutest people in the world. Really. So cute!! <3 <3
I drank too much again, and I managed to find my way to Shige's afterwards with the intention of talking lots but ended up falling asleep on the couch for a few hours, then he had to take me home. I am the worst friend ever :( I just invited myself over to ignore him and sleep. lol.
