So today was my actual birthday. I had the day off work and skipped school.. I wanted to sleep in... what a wonderful, responsible way to start off my 27th year of life =P
Around 1, I met with Shelyn at Shinjuku and she bought me a really nice spring shirt!! I LOVE it!!
(Behind me, you can see the nice couch that my parents got me... more on my new and improved room in a later post..)
Then we promptly got in line at a famous cake shop,
Harbs. After waiting about 1/2 hour to get in, we had coffee and cake and of course, it was delicious! I got Sakura and Azuki (Cherry Blossoms and Red Bean). LOL yes, most people don't like this combo, but I love it <3
From the side:
After that, we went to another coffee shop for ummm more coffee!!!! Yes, I have a coffee-addiction.... and two hours went by with lots of girl talk =P ごめんねShelyn m(___)m
Then I went to Shin-Okubo to meet some of my friends for Korean food... or so I THOUGHT.
Sam, who organized it, didn't bother to tell me that he told everyone Nakano... even though I assumed when I told him that I wanted Korean BBQ, he would know that I meant Shin-Okubo (since it's Tokyo's Korean town). So here I was standing around Shin-Okubo wondering why everyone is late while everyone was in Nakano, wondering why I was late. Eventually I figured it out tho... and headed to Nakano where we found one Korean restaurant and went in for lots of good Korean food~~~

In addition to these 3 days of fun, I received many wonderful and thoughtful gifts, many FB msgs, emails, birthday cards from overseas, and phone calls... I am truly grateful and thankful to have so many good friends and caring people in my life *cry*
I am so lucky (;_;)
