016 ... a man sees in the world what he carries in his heart

You know, since we're all doin' some good old-fashioned bonding, I think it's high time I asked somethin' for everyone to hear.

See, when I was alive, I was in somethin' of a wish-granting business. Not that I was a decent man about it, mind. Most of y'all know that by now, and really, deep down so did they. I'd draw a man's feelings out an' ( Read more... )

Go on, he's affected, but he's sort of emo about the truth, so be warned. rass_bestie August 14 2010, 18:03:48 UTC
I'd imagine that whoever else's immune, he most certainly is.

You make an excellent point. Although not everyone responded to my post, those that did, made the deal while they were, perhaps, not in the best position to make proper decisions.

Whether they would have made the deal anyway, they seemed to believe so, but the fact that that opportunity was not presented to them then, well, it speaks more than words.

I have not been told the answer to that. It could be that I risked the universe so I could become more than a mere shade, without a body or form and attempted to annihilate the race of people, my people, who left me to rot in a black hole.

But I believe getting saddled with the Doctor's consciousness, which drove me mad, killed my fiancée and spoiled my chances of returning safely back into my universe, punishment enough.

...yeah, I'd say fate covered that pretty swell.

Granted, we supposedly ain't bein' "punished" here. We're meant to get fixed, or reformed, or somethin'. This helps nothing, naturally.

To what end, so that when I return to my utterly empty universe I can be nice to the creatures that I create from my will?

Having no will of your own rather means that you have no feelings to hurt. They make for limited company, but at least I can be assured that they won't betray me.

Maybe the bastard can set you up with a better deal. Supposedly he does things like that. I don't trust it, mind...

And it's hard to aim for something I can't begin to picture, but I've gotta say, your raw deal trumps mine easy.

[The sweet sound of head-desking at that last statement.] That's why they call me Omega.
