coming together
It's the third day of the last 7 day session at camp. Okay, while I do complain on and on about camp, I will take this time to note some positives. Cause there are a lot. I have met a lot of great people here. My co-workers have become great friends that I am looking forward to having as confidants as I make my new life in Seattle. Also, I have met some really wonderful children that have warmed my heart and have made me laugh harder then an adult ever could. I have lots of memories from this summer that I will look back on and smile.
I have appreciated the time here that I can be silly. I can walk around with my pants tucked into my socks, with underwear on my head. Paint myself blue....crazy things. I have learned how to make new hemp knots and freindship bracelts, I've made soap, and candles.
I've explored the 500 acres of camp sealth on the beautiful shores of Vashon Island. I have seen deer frolic as I lay in fields of grass with children. I have played silly games. I have swam in freezing cold water with a smile. I have watched children do the same. I have taught children how to make pictures. I have seen them smile at there accomplishments, I have comforted them when they cried because they did not meet there expectations.
I have eaten more chocolate fondue then any human being should be allowed. I have camped out under the stars. I have gone star tripping. I've had my hair brushed, and my makeup done. I've gone canoeing, funyaking, slip and sliding.

I'm coming to NY august 18th at midnight or 19th. midnight always messes me up. I'll be flying into Albany and spending a few days upstate at the Sorg Compound. Then I will be down in the NYC area from the night of the 22nd to the 31st. I'll try to hit up the dorms. I'll be looking for a room to crash in. hint, hint, to you brookdale people. AND what the heck is going on with the RNC. I need to know what havoc is being planned and participate. Bike block maybe if I can get a hold of a bike. See you all soon. Oh, Levi, I'll be flying out of albany in the early evening of august 31st. So lets work it out.
