and then she realized something...

Finally, I made it to the library where I can update this stupid fucking livejournal for free instead of 15 cents a minute which is what i was paying at the hostel to use the internet. That is also my excuse for all the typos. I was speeding along typing and not wanting to waste time (or money) editing. All the other typos I have made, well....there are excuses for those too.

Camp starts tomorrow. I am excited. I really don’t know what to expect. At all. Today I noticed a lot about this city. Like all the cool architecture, and how clean it is and how nice everyone is.

Yesterday I had to go to a CPR/First Aid class for the job. I passed, it was 8 hours well, really, it was 6 hours and 45 minutes. It really wasn’t bad at all. I had the car out so I decided to drive around. I went up to Lake Washington blvd. It reminded me of Todt Hill on Staten Island. It’s where Kurt Cobain lived, and I tried to find his house, but without having an exact address, I was unsuccessful. I instead stopped at this little park that looked out over Washington Lake where boys were some boys were swimming and smoking pot. I pretended to read while quietly observing them from a distance.

I picked up this Zine the other day; I can’t remember the name of it…. I already finished reading it and mailed it to Gillian cause I thought she would like it. This girl wrote about a bike trip she took from Washington to Arizona. It’s really inspiring. I haven’t been on my bike since I left New York. That’s not true; I biked, like, two blocks in Chicago. The hills here are huge and intimidating. Bigger then any in San Francisco, and they just go on and on for blocks, straight up, and there never seems to be anytime when they go down.

Today I went to the Seattle Museum of Art where they have an exhibit called Van Gogh to Mondrian. It was very good. I saw lots of great Van Gogh’s including portraits of the postman Roulin and his wife Madam Roulin, very amazing in person. Unfortunately the wing of 20th century and modern art was closed. Uuughhh. Will reopen in 3 weeks. After that I went to the Experience Music Project. It usually $20 bucks but I went with the hostel, so they got us a group rate of 5 bucks. They should have had more about Nirvana, Mudhoney and Sleater-Kinney, punk asses. But it was cool.

Yeah, so now I am here, in this huge library on 4th Ave using the internet so I can update this stupid fucking thing and find out about shit like where Critical Mass and Food Not Bizombs takes place, but of course I lost my fucking pen. GRRRRRH.
