I decided to start looking for new glasses. I've owned the ones I have now for about eight or nine years and I think they've had it. They're bent in some weird way which causes too much pressure on the left pad. I'll probably eventually get a callus if I keep wearing them.
So I'm thinking of moving to the thicker, geekier, plastic frames and this morning I came across the following description:

A sharp plastic frame in a subtle pillow shape. These Polo frames exude a spirit of endless optimism.
It's too bad I exude equal amounts of pessimism and optimism. Apparently these were not meant for me. Who writes this BS?
