Our room must be upwards of eighty degrees again. I'd thought that it was getting better, that the heater, turned off and running on full blast for the past two months, was finally cooling down, but the past several days have been summer-hot. I opened the window as far as it would go, but you can't tell the difference. Of course, it's warmer outside too, warm and full of dying-moose-tuba noises with increasingly frequency. I think I preferred Rosenthal's bongos.
I've not been doing homework. I followed Sam to the APAHM opening ceremony after class and we sat in the back and talked about music but mostly people and left half-way through the Comedy Central act. He wasn't terrible, wasn't worth the $3k I heard they paid, wasn't nearly as funny as he thought himself. He didn't seem used to playing to a real audience. "You stopped laughing," he complained. A hundred Brandeisians stared back: You stopped being funny.
Came home when Sam left for QRC and didn't go back for theoretical Chinese. Didn't do homework; did listen to J-pop, indies, eighties, watched 「山田太郎ものがたり」. It may be one of the cuter things I've ever seen: I think Nino, whom I tend to overlook in 嵐, is growing on me. I would love Sho for it if he were not my favorite already.
