Dooin' pretty good

Mom is out of town and I'm house sitting. When I got here the downstairs was no messier than expected. I ran a vacuum and loaded the dishwasher. I went upstairs, and her room was a disaster. Dollar Store stuff (still in bags) spread across three bathrooms, laundry everywhere, all (the clean and the dirty) covered with dog hair. Bed covered with clothes and nail polish and random other things. Mom is turning into one of those cat ladies, only with dollar store crap instead of cats.
That was around 11 am. Nine hours and five loads of laundry later, her room is sleep-able. I went through one closet and bagged all the clothes I remember seeing her wear in Hillsmere, before we moved. I did one closet and all three dressers, and it was 5 bags of old clothes. Two bags of trash and three plastic bins of loose candles. She's such a pack rat, but I understand why. And she knows it, just doesn't know how to overcome it.
Instead of packing a bag to stay for the week, I brought my laundry to do and wear. It's still in my trunk. I'll just wear some of Mom's stuff to school tomorrow.

Linker called and appologized for what he said. I forgive him.

I got a call from Jeff at Pebbles this morning and he wants to give me another bartending shift during the week. I've been making between $80 - $120 a shift on Saturday afternoons. I'll freakin' take it. It'll be Wednesdays or Fridays, 5 - midnight. Kind of tricky, as I have School Thursday and open Pebbles Saturday morning. But we'll see how it goes. Might have to let Kim take back my Wednesday swing at the coffee shop for some extra me-time. I know she's been itching for it. Actually that sounds pretty good right about now. I was thinking the other day of asking Jeff for more time at the bar for the money. Haven't gotten the check from the coffee shop yet, and it'd be nice to get Jon rent on time :-/
But I'm not worried about money anymore. I blew a huge chunk of money on WoW last month so that's why I'm scrounging now. My savings goal is currently a new cell phone. I've never had a brand new cell phone before, always hand-me-downs from Mom and Gary. So I'm going to go all out and get a Verizon NV. I think that will mean Jon and I can talk for free, but I'm not sure. Hopefully the plan will help me build credit too.
Once that's out of the way, I want to get a fish tank. First it was a puppy, then a cat (even though I hate cats), then a sugar glider... actually I think I wanted the glider first. But I've come to the realization that while I want something fun, I don't want a lot of responsibility. I like to stay in bed as long as possible and take last minute trips to New York. Not so great for most pets. In fact, I may not even get any fish for it, just all the fun little knick-knacks that you can get for it.
Damn, I love the turtles in the Comcast Commercials. They're freakin' hillarious.
Ugh, I don't feel like doing this homework. I have to by 11 AM tomorrow. I'll have to duck in school early to print the play I need to reveiw. Maybe I'll write the review then.
