Blocks of time are WONDERFUL!
I just finished a draft of my Discussion. It is, of course, a sad piece of BS that I'm sure I will have to rework but that is fine because I have something down! I had a block of time today, I was able to get up in the morning and just work on the Discussion, uninterrupted by other work all day. It's nice to know that I can finish something when I have that time.
I'm not exactly sure what will happen with a kiddo in the mix. I'm looking forward to getting a good amount of work done before its arrival. Taking clinical duties off my 8-5pm plate feels so liberating! Only 3 more weeks of internship!
I'm hoping that after the initial shock and sleep deprivation I will be able to work out a good schedule with the baby so that I can get work done. See future posts for the reality of that hope. :)
Current Dissertation Status: Hopefully the last round of Results revisions to be done in the next few days, then revisions of Discussion. Then -- off to the committee!
Current Goal: Core committee approval of document by August with plan to defend in the fall.
