Back to class and, somehow, things seem less bonkers this term. Today I gave a talk in front of 300 undergraduates and thought, this is hilarious, all these people are forced to listen to me for nearly an hour. How silly. But good. It went really well and I feel proud of myself (and of my knowledge of semiotics :D) and it make me think, well done, I'm glad I am here getting all set to go be a teacher. It was one of the very few times since I've been here that I've been reminded of why I started all this craziness. I need moments like this to make up for statistics which, this week, features matrix algebra regression. Ack.
