As I was walking home I couldn't help notice that Cafe Toulouse has macarons! I always look longingly through the window whenever I look past, and in their bright pink-and-yellow glory, they were kinda hard to miss. They're $2.50 each, but rather thick as far as macarons go. This means that they are not as delicately crisp as the ones from Laurent, but they still had a lovely shell, which is my favourite thing about macarons :D  As for the taste, the raspberry ones at least were very sweet and raspberry-y, and they're quite rich so I was happy to share the goodness with my family.

I also stopped by the Theatre Royal to get our tickets for Ross Noble.  The people who work there are all so lovely, and after briefly looking through the pile of assorted student IDs I had amassed, they gave me our tickets.  People who have paid will get them tomorrow, and will have their choice of seats.

The Tulip Festival is on again this weekend! I'm thinking I might actually go this year because now we pretty much live across the road from the botanical gardens.  Fingers crossed the weather isn't miserable or unbearably hot!
