Winter Blues ... And pinks, and whites.

It's been so long since I updated my journal. I don't know if it's laziness, lack of time or a lack of inspiration. More than likely, it's a combination of all three of those things. Anythow, I'm updating now.

Today involves cool air and two loads of washing. I had a lovely sleep in with Mouse curled up beside me. At around ten I gently opened the curtains so that we could lay in the sun. Mouse thought that all her Christmases had come at once as she rolled onto her back and demanded attention in the loudest possible way. She was so excited that I was back home last night and even beat me into bed, beside herself with anticpation of her human heat bag joining her for a night of warmth and sleep.

I have been at niveaus house since Thursday evening. I needed to change my environment in order to continue studying. I did get quite a bit of study done on the weekend. Friday night even saw me get up at 11pm and study for an hour and a half. I couldn't sleep. I thought study would either promptly call slumber upon me and if it didn't, at least I'd get some study done. Today sees my study move onto Technoscience and the Cyber-citizen. I'm at work tomorrow and I have a whole day of study planned for HHB263 Politics of Globalisation. I know I can't escape from my little fishbowl and thus, I can't escape from the study that will call me. Unless of course, ditsychick calls and encourages me to buy a magazine. Maybe I'll set myself a task and my reward can be a magazine. I'm working Thursday as well, lots of study! Hoorah! Study and money.

I caught up with Anna last night. I haven't seen her in a while. We went to Fasta Pasta with Nathan and Nathan (Anna's Fiance and my brother's housemate). I didn't really enjoy my gnocchi all that much. I prefer it to be fresh, not just heated up. It was ok though and better than McDonalds. The boys were hilarious as usual and kept Anna and I in fits of giggles all night.

I love the sales that are on at the moment. So fantastic! So far I have spent around $35 in total at the sales and have bought a pink long-sleeved polo from Cotton On, a cute necklace and some hair ties from Diva, and 2 headbands and a singlet from Myer. Myer even has $4 underwear! They didn't have any in my size though.

Good luck to everyone that is studying. May exams be kind to you and not too stressful. I'm off to hang out my other load of washing. The washing God's are kind to me today having blessed my washing with a sunny day with a slight breeze. Really am going now....
