(no subject)
I'm at uni today. Surprisingly, the class I thought I'd least enjoy is providing me with endless amounts of amusement. I've been putting off this class for a whole year and when I finally go to do it I realise I should have done it ages ago. Good times.
It looks like it's going to rain again. I'm sure it will wait until I decide it's time to walk to the train and then the heavens will inevitably open. I don't have an umbrella today either.
The weekend was lovely. Dan and I went on a date on Saturday evening. It's not often that we go out just the two of us and I had the lovliest time even if I did eat too much. The gnocchi was just so delicious and the dessert was too good to pass up. I knew when I got to the coffee that I was in trouble. It was nice to have some Dan and Lee time. We had been to a family outing the night before at a Thai restaurant. I didn't really enjoy the food and I thought it was such a nice night to stay at home on the couch with a glass of wine. The rainy weekend made for a sleepy, happy Lee.
I had my first shift by myself last Thursday. It was a little bit scary and I ended up calling Jodi a few times and head office once. People are so impatient and I don't like being yelled at for not having ridiculous amounts of English pound. I've figured out that if you nod your head and smile sweetly, it annoys them even more. I hope I did everything right. I did forget to empty the bin though. My tills balanced at the end of the day which is always a good thing. I had grand hopes of getting lots of uni work done, instead, I stared aimlessly out the window and did Sudoku, for 9 whole hours. It's so easy to just waste enormous amounts of time.
I'm not going to waste any more of your time though. I'm going to actually do some uni work and choose my essay topics for one of my subjects. Hooray!
Look at me go! I'm being all studious! *snigger*
