I could use this entry to post lots of pictures, but I won't. I could also use this entry to offer my opinions on the world but I won't do that either. I think I'll use this entry to enlighten you all on my recent comings and goings.
The song I have playing at the moment is one of my absolute favourites. And, if in the appropriate mood, I might even shed a few tears. You should all listen to it with your eyes closed and a gentle breeze lapping around your feet. I believe that music should be an experience. But that's just me.
I've been crazily busy this past week. All a bit silly really. I'm hoping that this week lends itself to a lot of relaxation and numerous chances to just sit and enjoy some peace and quiet. That said, I've been addicted to the tennis. Whilst housesitting with Dan last week, I thought I'd just watch a bit of the Lleyton vs Chela match thinking it would only go for around two hours. Poor
niveau came home to around four hours later to a crazed me absolutely glued to the tv and yelling at Hewitt to hit the little green ball. Concerning at the best of times. The Federer vs Haas match last night was something special. I think I'll go for Federer and Nalbandian. That will disappoint Brad who thinks I should go for Roddick because he's hot. His eyes are too close together for my liking and I think he's a bit of a sponsor whore much like Anna Kornikova was; not really that good at tennis but relatively good looking. Tell me, does anyone else have an ad like Roddick and his american express? I remember when Hewitt did toilet paper. That was good.
Anna and Nathan had their engagement party on Saturday night. It was just like any other engagement party but relatively enjoyable. They recieved some beautiful presents and it was nice to catch up with a few people, especially Brad who I adore. The food was tops too.
in other wedding news, we got Bridesmaids dresses. Anna and I found them at Chermside on Saturday morning. They are lovely and an even lovelier price. I won't say any more about them. It can be a surprise.
Had coffee with
_sundaydriver_ on Sunday evening. She's lovely and I adore her. I always feel so much more grounded and relaxed after time spent in her company. Everyone needs a friend like that.
I'm thinking I'm going to go for a swim. The water is shimmering and a light breeze is whispering.
