I started taking photos through the telescopes
The Pacific team were great hosts. They organized a couple of activities for us, one of which was a tour up the
Eureka Skydeck 88 The Eureka Skydeck offers a 360 degree unobstructed view of Melbourne from the highest point above. I half-wished we had gone up when it was dark and the city lights were on because that would have been spectacular. Nonetheless, when we went up, we were greeted with an amazing view of Melbourne and it was breathtaking.
On the skydeck is the edge which is essentially a glass cube that projects 3 metres out from the building. So you can view Melbourne beneath you and literally be blown away. I refused to be persuaded to go up to the edge because I didn't want to start hyperventilating and go into a panic mode. I get wobbly legs just looking over the glass panel of our connecting bridge at the office not to mention 88 storeys up on a suspending glass cube. NO.
It was a lovely experience which I would encourage people visiting Melbourne to give it a shot. Now, I wished I had gone up to the Empire State Building in NYC. I guess, that gives me another reason to re-visit NYC again.. soon!
Eureka Skydeck
I was tad nervous because I am afraid of heights!

Up and up above
It's cool how you can view different key sights and places of Melbourne from the Skydeck through a telescope
