Gluttoney

This breakfast was called - Gluttoney

In Asia, we do get spoilt with the hotels as the rooms tend to be bigger and check-in timing is earlier (check-out is later). In Melbourne, we could only check in at 2pm so after the red eye flight, we had no choice but to leave our luggage at the concierge and roam around. I did want to shower but as I was pretty hungry, I didn't quite care!

Everyone wanted a good breakfast so I threw out the suggestion from JWang. Gluttoney. It wasn't too difficult to find - thankfully we had Lala who used to study here. Gluttoney is like most typical breakfast cafes with the usual fare. For some strange reason, all of us decided on the same item - Gluttoney.

It was a shocking amount but thankfully as we dug into the mountain of rocket, we realized that it was mainly rocket and two fat pieces of toast and a couple of bacon. It was filling for sure and as usual, I couldn't stomach all of it. Perhaps it was because I was already down with the sniffles that I didn't really enjoy the meal as much as I should or the fact that the poached eggs weren't quite runny but the yolks were solid. The toast was good, the rocket aplenty - I wished I could have enjoyed my meal more without sneezing into a tissue every few minutes.
