The Peak

I visited The Peak or officially known as Victoria Peak, eons ago and I can't quite recall much about it. B.T decided to take me for a hike up and boy, was it a hike. We walked over from mid-levels, all the way to the top. The grand idea was to run up but I was panting so much, I had to brisk walk instead.

Honestly, it was a great walk up. The air was fresh which was a nice change from the polluted air that you get in the city and it was scenic. It would have been really nice to do a run all the way up had I not been panting so much. I'm telling you, Hong Kong has some brutal gradients.

It used to be free to view the panoramic view right at the peak but sadly now, you get charged. I think it was something like HKD$350. We didn't have enough cash on us even if we were willing to pay for it so we found an alternative - head up to the Burger King, go right through the doors and step out at the verandah. It's very windy and the view is not totally unblocked as it's several levels down but it is still as gorgeous.

After we took a short walk around, we headed back, this time around, via a cab :)

Just follow the signs

Up and up
