does the cooking smells waft into the living room when you cook? and hence stain the bedsheets and stuff?

The smells do waft in as we don't have a door to separate the kitchen with the living/bedroom. We do leave the window in the kitchen open and use an air purifier and candles! The bedsheets don't get stained though.
