[Okay, Romana was sure that she hadn't been on an Earth-like planet. In fact they'd been spending some time on Skaro with the Daleks and Movellans. She still had the jelly baby in her hand.]

Excuse me. I'm a little bit lost. I was just with a man who had dark curly hair, a long colorful scarf and goes by the name Doctor.

[He wasn't really paying a great deal of attention until she said 'Doctor' and then she gets a sudden glance up.

Romana! Oh man, she showed up last time and clearly doesn't remember but he doesn't care because it's Romana and wow.]

[This man is a bit odd but Romana's used to odd people considering she's been hanging around the Doctor. Oh right, she can't just go around telling strangers about alien races.]

Oh, jelly babies; don't eat nearly enough of those anymore. Lots more bananas recently. Not sure why. Ought to fix that. Did I eat them a lot before? I don't remember being particularly fond of them previously.

[Romana just lets him ramble to himself. It's a lot like being in the Doctor's presence and she finds that this incarnation actually enjoys the rambling.]

This might be banana flavored, or lemon. I'm not too sure to be honest. [Romana I would never put a jelly baby in her mouth. Either way the man's talking about the subject as if it was him and she's eyeing him critically.] Are you the Doctor?

[Well, if she's still holding it out he'll pick it up and answer this question for the pair of them. A few seconds later and he's considering the flavour.] Lemon. I think. And sugar. Mostly sugar. And some lemon.

Yes! A few versions ahead of yours. Actually found that scarf again a few years ago, although it doesn't fit quite as well now.

[Just....watching as he tastes the jelly baby. It's his sweet so it's not as if she can scold him for taking it back.] You should get the company to make banana-flavored ones.

I do believe you're taller now and it doesn't surprise me that you kept the scarf. [Teasing.]

Should do that, yeah. Imagine how much better they would do with a proper banana flavoured one! Although, a lot of the time banana-flavouring can fall quite short of the actual item.

Am I taller? [He perks up a bit at that because who doesn't like being taller.] It was a fairly memorable scarf. Don't know how I didn't get it caught on more things though; not sure it would be so easy to manage anymore.

If they had you as their taste-tester then it'd be the perfect banana-flavoring in the whole universe.

[Yep, still full of himself. This would be good information if she was still studying him and writing it down would actually mean something.] By an inch or so. It wouldn't surprise me if you practice running around with it on. [She fiddles with her own long scarf.] A scarf wouldn't really go with the rest of your outfit.

[Well that's not going to help the being-full-of-himself at all. That nearly causes straight out puffing up.] It probably wouldn't. I've got a long coat that goes with it instead. Running around with that on isn't too difficult so maybe the scarf would be okay. I've got enough time to work on it, anyway.
