Well not Roswell so often in proportion to other places I could be showing up, but crashes seem to happen a lot more often than I'd prefer, honestly. Although normally I like to prevent them.

Why would you celebrate a crash landing?

I'm pretty sure you couldn't have prevented this one. [Because he doesn't look old enough but then neither does she. She shrugs and rolls her eyes.]

They consider it some sort of triumph of the human race over waht they stupidly assume was an invading race.

Understandable. We're fascinating, and they're eternally curious to the point of almost being adorable, really. You almost want to pat them on the heads and give them stickers and then ask them to please stop poking at things.

I guess it's neither, really. I'm from Antar. My brother and our friend crashed in the 1945 Roswell crash. [She holds her hand out to shake.] I'm Isabel Evans.
