[The Doctor is coming home super late having been working in the lab this week a bit harder and longer than usual. Mild discovery of something had piqued his chemist, scientist, and inventor facets all at once, and they were proving somewhat difficult to keep scattered thoughts from running rampant over his attentiveness. I... I don'-- I mean, the last time it happened there had been a serious temporal paradox, a-a- a loop that was destined to repeat until the correct sequence of events was put back in order but I'd been,.. eaten at the time so aside from generically putting events back I'm not sure what happened.

But isn't like that anyway - something of that nature I'd have felt it. This... There's no reason for this.

All right, well....first, breathe. I'd be willing to bet this is something the City's done, it might go back to normal on it's own.

For now...I don't know. You could come stay with me and Mercy, if you'd like; take a look at things in the morning.

[Breathing is actually a very good suggestion; he'd not been doing a whole lot of it. Few things will panic him at this point - this is most of them all at once.]

Amy and Rory are going to need a place to sleep. I'm probably going to go back to the lab with a, a piece of the outer shell and see if I can get any decent readings off it.
