Lovely job. All of it fits him so well. I particularly liked the origin of his last name. Well done.

How are you doing?

You write the best stuff!

Fine over here, fighting off a cold. I'm wishing that the kinkmeme would update their delicious bookmarks so that I can read lots of fic!

Aww shucks :)

Sorry to hear you've been sick! Get well soon. If you need a fighting hand, I am scarily accurate with a rifle ;)

I think the delicious!MODs took a long vacation. It hasn't been updated in AGES. I'd volunteer to help out myself, but I don't have the time to spare, to be honest.

LOL! At least feeling sick is a very minor problem compared to everything else in my life. I'd love a vacation in a sensory deprivation tank.

I was sad that they mods took a vacation right when I posted my first fic on there. I wanted to be archived. Plus, I need lots more darkfic links. Lots!

A sensory deprivation tank! That's an amazing idea, I'd buy a ticket too. Can I go an extra round?

I'm so looking forward to my holiday two weeks from now, I'm going to do nothing but bask in the sun all day, write, and eat delicious food. Eh, which won't be so delicious, since it's Passover, but a girl can dream right?

Really wonder what's up with Delicious, too :( Don't have the energy to go through all the sea of comments to find fics in the prompt posts, I haven't been following the comm closely for ages.

BTW, have you submitted your stories in the filled posts? And in the main communities?

That sounds fabulous. We've got holiday here, but that just means no school for the girls and extra work for me.

I forgot the filled posts, but I got zero reception in the communities and only a bit on ffnet. Oh well. Darkfic is often that way. I need to get my rear end in gear working on my latest original novel. (Although even fewer people read those!) I started it last year before a couple of family crises came up. I've got some new ideas for it. I think what I need is a 30 hour day and a family that sleeps for 20 of it!

If it's a pairing other than John/Sherlock it's the same, believe me. But don't give up. Just keep writing, some stories are bound to receive more recognition, it's the way of the internet. I bet there are ton of people who read your fic and liked it, but never left a comment because not that many people do.

And oh, you're writing a novel? That's fantastic! Keep at it, we write foremost for the fun of it, no? :)

Sorry to hear you had to deal with family crisis! Hope nothing too serious?

A 30 hour day sounds lovely. I'd love to sleep for 20 hours every day. Which reminds me, it's way past my zzz time. Sigh.

This fic was gen dark fic. I think having romance in it helps because my other Sherlock fic people love.

I've written a couple, self-published. One sold twelve copies, LOL. I do need to keep in mind that it should be fun. My biggest problem is being too busy to get any daydreaming done, which means I can't get any new ideas.

It was autism (and a couple of other issues) diagnosis for my older daughter. It was mostly stressful for me because I'm an Aspie, so changes in routine are tough, as is meeting new people. And I had a dozen meetings with new people. We're in a nice routine now though, so I ought to be able to get my imagination back in gear. *Crosses fingers*

*hugs if you want them*

Hope the routine is working out for you! Keeping you in my thoughts :)

I love your writing, it's clear how much thought you put into it, and that you're having fun doing it.

Thanks! I got about twenty pages of the new novel done, so I am very pleased with that. Slow going though, about three pages an hour. It's one of the only ones I wrote that has no psychic powers.
I want psychic powers!
