Finally, an update...
I have returned. These past few weeks have been, for the most part, excellent! I traveled to Bonito (a very beautiful area of Brazil) for my extended weekend and missed Belen. When I came back I had my IB exam for World Religions... didn't do as well as I should have, but I think I probably did okay.
Belen and I have been hanging out a lot, of course, and have been having such a good time. We had our first kiss on Friday, the 29th and it was so beautiful. Later that night we went out to the class party... she was looking amazing. I was sporting my super sexy pink, button up shirt that I bought for R$ 200 from ZOOMP. (Yeah, I now get 20% off every time I go so that kicks ass.) Anyway, the place was awesome and everyone was there. Kids from graded, all the kids from Chapel, and most importantly Belen (yeah, I don't have quick keys set for accent marks but it's on the second "e"). We had such a good time dancing close and just making out on the dance floor (it's Brazil... people make out everywhere). Everyone was so surprised to see me and her together since no one had known about it previously.
