I don't update for months, and now I submit this:
I have two great policies for preventing bad behavior. They are:
The one cancer/day policy: sure, go ahead, sit out in the sun, but no smoking! Or, smoke your little heart out, but stay in the shade.
AND
The "I'm drunk, I'd better behave" policy, whereby I am much more careful about questionable behavior when I'm drunk and I know it.
(note that this doesn't apply if I'm drunk and deny it.)
